How to Reach

By Road: Kharka Gaon can be reached quite easily from Kalimpong, its nearby city. It will take more than 30 minutes or so to reach the village from Kalimpong. Cars are also available to hire from Siliguri, NJP, or even from Bagdogra.

By Air: Bagdogra is the nearest airport to the village. Hence, travellers have to board a flight to this airport. The distance from Bagdogra Airport to Kharka Gaon is 80 km.

By Train: Travelers have to book a ticket to NJP as it is the major nearest railway station. By road, it takes around 3 or 4 hours to reach Kharka Gaon village depending on the road condition. The distance between NJP and Kharka Gaon is around 78 km.
