How to Reach Simanadara

By Road: From Kalimpong or Pedong, Simanadara can be visited quite smoothly. From Kalimpong, It takes not more than 2 hours to reach this mountainous village. From Pedong, it takes not more than one and a half hours to reach the village. The distance from Pedong to Simanadara is around 35 km.

By Train: To travel to this village, travellers first have to board a train to New Jalpaiguri Junction which is mostly known as NJP. From, here rented car is the only option. A car can be availed from North Bengal Tourism at a quite discounted price. The distance from NJP to Simanadara is around 85 km.

By Air: First travelers have to board a flight to Bagdogra Airport which is the only operational airport in the entire North Bengal region. North Bengal Tourism can arrange a car from Bagdogra to reach the village comfortably. The distance from Bagdogra Airport to Simanadara is around 90 km.

As it is an offbeat village, there are no hotels available. The only mode of accommodation available here is homestay. Even though the village welcomes tourists at any time of the year, October to March is considered to be the best time to visit Simanadara due to its pleasant weather.
