How to Reach Yakten Sikkim

Yakten can be reached easily from Gangtok, Siliguri, NJP as well as Bagdogra. The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri at a distance of around 140 km and the nearest airport is Bagdogra at a distance of 145 km. Take a hired car from NJP or Siliguri via Gangtok to finally reach the hamlet. However, Pakyong airport in Gangtok is now operational to board a flight from any major cities.

Yakten in South Sikkim can be visited at any time of the year. As surrounded by the luxuriant forest of Himalaya, the weather of the village stays alluring most of the time.
