
Day 4 is the day to explore some of the sightseeing places in Punakha and transfer to Paro. So, first, we will be visiting Punakha Dzong, a monastery which is located on the bank of Mo Chu and the Po Chu river. The monastery is quite old and served both the administrative and religious centers in Bhutan. The next destination of Punakha sightseeing is Chimmi Lakhang, a beautiful temple surrounded by many rice fields. You will find it awkward to see many phallic symbols painted here and there. But the symbol has religious significance. Moreover, the temple is also quite famous for fulfilling people's wishes by blessing them with babies.
After seeing some of these sightseeing places, return back to your hotel to start a thrilling journey again towards Paro, an ancient city of Bhutan full of religious values and cultures. After reaching Paro, check into your hotel and have some rest after an intense journey. While at leisure, you can consume some of your favorite shows on Television. In the evening, explore some nearby places and get to know the evening lifestyle of the Bhutanese people. Finally, overnight stay at Paro after having a delicious dinner.
