Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Gorumara Government Resort

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station, you will be greeted by our officials. From the respective junction, you will start your journey towards Gorumara National Park where you will be lodging in the Kalipur forest bungalow, Gorumara. It is an eco-friendly Government Resort of Dooars. After checking in, freshen up and prepare yourself for the elephant ride in Gorumara National Park. In the evening enjoy the authentic tribal dance performed by the local tribes. Overnight stay in Gorumara.

Day 2: Transfer to Suntalekhola Nature Resort and Sightseeing at Samsing & Rocky Island

After an early morning breakfast checkout from the resort and start your journey towards the offbeat destination of Sunthalekhola. Sunthalekhola is quaint hamlet and a nature bound place in Dooars. You will be lodging the Eco-friendly resort Sunthalekhola which is maintained by the West Bengal Forest Development Corporation (WBFDC). After checking in, freshen up and be ready for your sightseeing of Samsing and Rocky Island. All the sightseeing places are located at an easy walking distance from Sunthalekhola. Samsing is another quaint hamlet of Dooars which is known for its scenic beauty. And lastly we take you to visit Rocky Island located at a distance of 13km from Sunthalekhola. Jaldapara National Park is famous for its population of Asiatic Rhinoceros. After checking into the resort, freshen up and in the afternoon prepare yourself for the sightseeing in South Khayerbari. Located at a distance of 15 km from Jaldapara, South Khayerbari is a rehabilitation center for the felines who were rescued from smugglers and circus. After observing the rescued leopards and Royal Bengal Tiger in their natural habitat, return to your resort and enjoy the peaceful environment of Jaldapara. Overnight stay in Jaldapara.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Phuentsholing & Chilapata Forest

After an early morning breakfast prepare yourself for sightseeing in Phuentsholing and Chilapata Forest. Located at a distance of 30 km from Jaldapara, Phuentsholing is quaint border town of Bhutan. Best known for the crocodile breeding centre and Karbandi Monastery Phuentsholing shows the glimpse of indigenous Bhutanese culture. In the afternoon proceed towards Chilapata Forest of Dooars. Reckoned for being the natural corridor for large herbivores animals if lucky you might spot wild elephant and one-horned rhinoceros. After exploring the dense forest of Chilapata, return to your resort.

Day 5: Sightseeing in Murti and Malbazar & Drop to NJP/ Bagdogra

After an early breakfast checkout from the resort and drive towards Murti while saying your farewell. Located at distance of 60 km from Jaldapara, Murti is a scenically blessed destination of Dooars. Adorn the impeccable beauty of serene river stream of Murti and next you will be heading towards Malbazar. Malbazar is a bustling town famous for its sacred Hanuman Temple. Till Rocky Island the river is known as Asley Jhora. At Rocky Island after hitting plain land it becomes Murti River. It flows through the heart of Gorumara National Park. Murti River terminates at Diana River later on at Jaldhaka River.
