4 Days Dooars Tour Itinerary
On your arrival at New Alipurduar Junction, you will be received by our officials. Next, it will take around 1.5 hours to transfer you to Jayanti. Have lunch on the way or after reaching the resort. Check into the resort and freshen up after covering approximately 40 kilometres of scenic road. Have some rest and then, stroll around the nearby places. Overnight stay at Jayanti.
Wake up early in the morning for a Jungle Safari at Buxa Tiger Reserve. After witnessing the various wildlife, return back again to your resort. After a little rest, indulge yourself in local sightseeing. Visit Buxa Fort, a historical place ideal for trekking. The Buxa Fort was originally owned by Bhutan King but later was handed over to the British. It was then used as a prison. India's great freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose was also imprisoned here.
Pokhri Hill is another ideal place for trekking lovers. There is a pond too which is considered quite sacred among the locals. You can also witness a lot of Magur Fishes and tortoises. TGN Tower to enjoy a fascinating view of the surrounding place. Visit Rajabhatkhawa next. A captivating village on the fringe of Buxa Tiger Reserve. Wander around the animal rescue centre of Rajabhatkhawa where you can see many injured wild animals are being treated.
After enjoying all these attractions, return back to the resort. In the evening, you are completely free. Have some rest or stroll around the nearby places. Overnight stay at the resort of Jayanti.
On Day 3 of your Jayanti Tour Package, have an early morning breakfast to travel to Cooch Behar. This particular city needs no introduction as it is a princely state nestled on the bank of river Torsa. Once you reach Cooch Behar, you will get to see sightseeing attractions like Rajbari Palace, Madan Mohan Temple and Sagar Dighi. In short, you will get the right mix of old heritage architecture, with a mix of bird spotting amidst Sagardighi. Return back to your resort after Cooch Behar sightseeing. Have your dinner in the evening and then overnight stay at the resort of Jayanti.
This is going to be the last day of your Jayanti Tour Package. After breakfast, check out from the resort and start your return journey towards New Alipurduar Junction. Enjoy the thrilling view of the lush greenery while you are being driven towards the railway station. Reach New Alipurduar Junction after a road journey of more than 2 to 3 hours.
