On the arrival at NJP/Bagdogra you will be greeted by our officials and then transferred to your resort in Gorumara which is maintained by the government officials. After checking in, freshen up and be ready to visit the offbeat destinations of Dooars. Our first stop would be Samsing, which is a serene hamlet known for its lush tea garden and the base for exploring Neora Valley National Park. After walking past the aromatic tea garden you will head towards Suntalekhola which is located at a distance of 5km from Samsing. Sunthalekhola is dotted with astounding trekking routes. You can spot birds and small wild animals in those routes. Lastly you will head towards Rocky Island. Reckoned as the hub of adventurer, Rocky Island is made with the cluster of gigantic rocks midst the Murti River. Here you can test your rock climbing skill or simply enjoy the cool water of Murti River. Return to the resort and overnight stay in Gorumara.
Early in the morning you will be taken for Jeep Safari at Gorumara National Park. In this jungle safari you will get to observe the exotic beauty of the mid-sized park Gorumara. If you are lucky along with spotting bison, Barking Deer, you might be graced with the presence of famous Asiatic Rhino. Return to the resort for breakfast and after breakfast gear up for sightseeing in Bindu, Jhalong, and Jaldhaka. Your first stop is Jaldhaka a picturesque river valley located along the Indo-Bhutan border. Beckon the beauty of river stream gently cascading down the ridge in Jaldhaka and head towards your next stop Jhalong. After the breakfast, check out from the resort and head towards Jaldapara. In Jaldapara you will be lodging in the resort maintained by the government officials. Jaldapara is a national park known for housing the largest population of One-Horned Rhinoceros after Kajiranga National Park in Assam. On arrival at Jaldapara, check into the resort and freshen up. Later in the afternoon you will drive towards South Khayerbari. Located at a distance of 15km, South Khayerbari is a rehabilitation centre for the felines who were rescued from the circus and smuggler. Observe the rescued leopards and Royal Bengal tigers in South Khayerbari while touring in the battery operated cars. Return to the resort and you are free for the rest of the evening. Overnight stay in Jaldapara.
After an early breakfast, you will drive towards Buxa and Jayanti. Visit the Rajabhatkhawa museum, ancient Buxa Fort which marks its existence since the British era and lastly the amazing scenic beauty of nature at Jayanti river bed. After the delightful sightseeing return back to the resort and relax. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.
After breakfast, gear up for the sightseeing of Coochbehar. On the way visit Chilapata forest. Chilapata Forest is another protected forest of Dooars region. Forming a natural elephant corridor, in Chilapata Forest you can explore 23 species of carnivores and herbivores, approximately 180 species of birds, 22 species of reptiles, several species of amphibians and a host of lesser fauna.
