Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lava

After arrival at New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP)/ Bagdogra Airport and start your 4hr journey towards Lava. Your journey towards this small town will be full of serene sights of lofty green mountains and Roaring River Teesta. Lava is a quaint little town tucked away in the eastern Himalayas. It is also the paradise for the birdÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s watcher since itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s located near the forested area. After covering approx 120 km you will reach Lava and check into the hotel. After freshening up you are free for the rest of day to relax and take a stroll in the nearby places and visit Lava Monastery which is an ideal place to get a picturesque view of the adjacent mountain. Day 2: Transfer to Kolakham & visit to Changey Fall

Breakfast at hotel and after breakfast check out from the hotel and start your 45mins journey towards Kolakham. It is a small village in Kolbong Forest within the Neora Valley. The route towards Kolakham will leave you mesmerized. Reach Kolakham after covering approx 8km and check into the hotel. After freshening up proceed towards Changey Fall 1.5hr journey from Kolakham. After covering 4.5km you will reach Changey Fall. Sooth your senses by listening to the alluring sound of Changey Waterfall, with 900ft trek. Seeing the wonderful waterfall gushing down from high above and disappearing into the lush foliage below can be quite mesmerizing and soothing. After seeing this majestic waterfall head back to hotel, lunch on the way. When you reach Kolakham you are free for rest of the day to rest and explore the nearby forest. Overnight stay at Kolakham.

Day 3: Transfer to Lolegaon and Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel and after breakfast start your 2-3hr journey towards Lolegaon. A journey full with sight of pine tree, reach Lolegaon after covering approx 45km and check into the hotel. After freshening up be ready for the sightseeing in Lolegaon, there are many places to explore around Lolegaon, the famous one being The Canopy Walk. Its a180-meters long hanging wooden tree-top bridge that goes through the dense jungle. The bridge slowly rises in height and you will find yourself walking through the tree tops amidst dense forest, making you feel ecstatic and a part of nature. At the center of the village there is a flat land opposite to the Eco-Park where you can relax and observe the nature and enjoy lunch with your loved ones, Lolegaon view point which offers a panoramic view of Neora Valley National Park and Mt Kanchenjunga. Watch the fading golden sunset in the Himalayan valley below the snow-capped mountain range from the Jhandidara hilltop. Overnight stay at Lolegaon.

Day 4: Transfer to Kalimpong and Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel and after breakfast start your 2hr journey towards Kalimpong. A journey full with sight of pine tree, reach Kalimpong after covering approx 58km and check into the hotel. After freshening up be ready for the sightseeing in Kalimpong, Durbin Dara Hills there is a Tibetan monastery located on the Durpin hill, Durpin Monastery. From the upper terrace of the monastery, you get magnificent views of Kalimpong town with Kanchenjunga in the background, Pine view Cactus Nursery it has a great collections of cactus and ornamental plants, Mangal Dham it is an excellent temple complex built in the memory of late Guruji Mangal Dasji and dedicated to Lord Krishna, Dr. GrahamÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Homes School this missionary school was set up by Dr. J A Graham in 1900 as an orphanage cum school for the destitute Anglo Indian children it is located on the way to Deolo Hills and you can walk across to various parts of the school, Dello Hills an 8-acre lush parkland with manicured flower gardens and several view points with breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga, lunch on the way. Hanuman Mandir perched on the hill a short hike towards this temple offers a serene and picturesque view of the Kanchenjunga and on a sunny day neighboring state of Sikkim and the surrounding landscapes of lava and kafer hills is also clearly visible. After sightseeing you are free for the rest of the evening to relax in the hotel or take a stroll in the market area for handmade local merchandise and mouth watering Chinese and local cuisine. Day 5: DROP TO NJP/BAGDOGRA

Breakfast at Hotel and after breakfast say your farewell to this bustling bazaar town sprawls along a saddle-shaped mountain ridge overlooking the roaring Teesta River and lorded over by the summit of Kanchenjunga. While returning see the breathtaking view of the lush greenery and cool blue waters from coronation bridge a perfect way to end your trip.
