Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer to Thimphu

After reaching the Hasimara/NJP railway station, one of our officials will be there to receive you. Completing the greeting process, you will be transferred to Thimphu. During the journey, stop at Phuentsholing to get the Inner Line Permit. Here we will assist you every way possible to get the ILP smoothly. The journey will start again onwards to Thimphu. After reaching there, check into your hotel and fresh yourself up. Now, have some rest and relax. In the evening, you can explore the nearby market or consume your favorite show on Television. Finally, after dinner, overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing

Day 2 of our Bhutan Tour Itinerary is all about exploring some of the attractive sightseeing places in Thimphu. Thimphu sightseeing includes attractions like Durga Temple/Shiv Temple, Buddha Point, Coronation Park, Takin Zoo (National Animal of Bhutan), Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, Handicrafts and Textile Museum of Bhutan, Handmade Paper Factory, Tashichho Dzong and Simply Bhutan (Traditional Culture Program). Start the day by visiting the iconic Memorial Chorten. Believed to be one of the most sacred places, by visiting here you will come to know the intense religious belief of Bhutanese people about this place.

We will be taking you to Mohitang Takin Preserve. Takin, a unique animal, is only available in Bhutan and some of the nearby places lives in this Preserve. They can be seen very closely in the morning when they come closer to the fence to eat food. The beauty of the surrounding places also attracts a lot of tourists to visit this home of Bhutan's national animal.

Our next destination is the National Textile Museum. This museum is famous for preserving many handicrafts, royal dresses, and traditional Bhutanese dresses. Moreover, here you can learn how to wear Bhutan's traditional dresses named Gho and Kira.

Buddha View Point is another sightseeing place in our Bhutan Tour Itinerary for 5 Nights and 6 Days. This viewpoint is quite famous for an astonishing 51.5-meter tall Buddha statue. The place is also quite attractive as it provides a great view of the surrounding valleys.

Day 3 consists of a magnificent journey towards Paro. The duration of the journey is a couple of hours but initially feels short as the road towards the city is full of scenic beauty which you can enjoy from your car's window. Explore the local sightseeing attractions Paro has to offer- Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), Kichu Lhakhang Monastery, Drukgyal Dzong, Tiger Nest Monastery (Viewpoint) and Ta Dzong (Paro Museum).

Day 4: Full-Day Hike to Taktsang Monastery

Situated on the cliffside of a mountain, this ancient monastery is quite famous for its breathtaking location. Day 5: Visit Haa Valley and Chele La Pass

Have your breakfast and then start a thrilling journey towards Ha Valley. In the middle of your journey of 49 km from Paro, you will be stopping at the famous Chele La Pass which is the highest motorable pass in Bhutan. Spend some peaceful time here while enjoying the fascinating view of Mount Chomolhari and Jichu Drakey. After having a 22 km of the journey again, you will finally reach the least visited village of Bhutan, Ha Valley. Inhale the pure Oxygen-rich air and go on a short walk here and there to explore the beauty of this place. After enjoying some quality time here, head towards your hotel room again. Day 6: Transfer to Hasimara / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)
