Day 3 of our Silk Route Tour Package will be the most exciting one. So wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast and prepare yourself for a magnificent journey towards Aritar, a scenic hamlet located in East Sikkim popularly known for its rich history and fascinating landscape. So, after covering approximately 15 km from Reshikhola, you will finally reach here. Check into your resort and have some rest. You are completely free for the rest of the day.
Now, start exploring some of the fascinating sightseeing places of Aritar. First, visit Aritar Gumpa, a magnificent Buddhist monastery known for its splendid ancient architecture. Moreover, you can also see many splendid paintings, murals, and artefacts nicely drawn and preserved here. Later, visit Mankim Temple and Rai Temple which are situated on the hilltop of Mankin. Enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley and Mount Kanchenjunga. Indulge yourself in the trekking activities and discover some memorable tranquil places where the time is worth spending.
After visiting and discovering all these sightseeing places, return back to your resort. Relax for a while and in the evening stroll into the nearby places. Finally, overnight stay in the resort at Aritar.
