How to Plan a 4-Days Dooars Tour?

Dooars Tour Itinerary for 4 Days

Day 1: Transfer to Lataguri and Jungle Safari in Gorumara

On arrival at your tentative pick up point, our representative will be there to receive you. After the greeting process, you will be transferred to the resort of Lataguri. The journey is going to be of more than 2 hours. You can have your lunch on the way or after reaching the resort.

Check into the resort, freshen up and prepare for the afternoon Jungle Safari in Gorumara. Gorumara National Park is a magnificent dense forest in Dooars quite popular for One-Horned Rhinoceros. During the jungle safari, you might spot wild Elephants, famous Asiatic Rhino, like Barking Deer, Sambar and Bison, etc. (Every year Gorumara National Park remains closed from 15th June to 15th September during this time you cannot go for Elephant/ Jeep Safari in Gorumara). After a thrilling Jungle Safari, return back to your resort. Spend the evening at Leisure. Overnight stay in the resort of Lataguri.

Day 2: Sightseeing at Jaldhaka, Jhalong & Bindu

After early morning breakfast, get ready to have an excursion to Jhalong and Bindu, popular for their scenic landscapes and rich flora & fauna. Adjacent to the Indo-Bhutan Border and on the bank of river Jaldhaka, Jhalong is one of the prominent sightseeing places in Dooars. Enjoy the tranquil ambience, chirping of various birds and the shimmering river Jaldhaka.

Bindu is the last village where Dooars ends and Bhutan, the land of Thunder Dragon starts. Bindu Dam is what attracts bird enthusiasts towards this scenic hamlet as it is the abode of various migratory birds. Moreover, countless ginger and cardamom plantations increase the beauty of this tiny settlement even more.

Return back to your resort again. Have lunch on the way or at the resort. You are free in the evening to stroll around the resort. Finally after dinner, overnight stay at Lataguri.

Day 3: Sightseeing at Samsing, Suntalekhola and Rocky Island

On the day 3 of your Lataguri Package Tour, visit Samsing, Suntalekhola and Rocky Island. About 35 km away from Lataguri, you are going to explore Samsing first. After then have an adventurous journey to Suntalekhola and Rocky Island respectively. All of them are known for their beautiful landscape, vast tree gardens and the green vegetation. Moreover, Neora Valley National Park will take you closer to the magnificent flora and fauna of Dooars.
After relishing the beauty of these mesmerizing offbeat destinations, return back to your resort again. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay here at Lataguri Resort.
