Jungle Safari at Buxa Tiger Reserve. After witnessing the various wildlife, return back again to your resort. After a little rest, indulge yourself in local sightseeing. Visit Buxa Fort, a historical place ideal for trekking. The Buxa Fort was originally owned by Bhutan King but later was handed over to the British. It was then used as a prison. India's great freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose was also imprisoned here.
Pokhri Hill is another ideal place for trekking lovers. There is a pond too which is considered quite sacred among the locals. You can also witness a lot of Magur Fishes and tortoises. TGN Tower to enjoy a fascinating view of the surrounding place. Visit Rajabhatkhawa next. A captivating village on the fringe of Buxa Tiger Reserve. Wander around the animal rescue centre of Rajabhatkhawa where you can see many injured wild animals are being treated.
