Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lamahatta and Sightseeing

Darjeeling Tinchuley Chatakpur Lamahatta Tour package begins after your arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Proceed to Lamahatta after the meet and greet. Lamahatta is 70 km and about three hours' driving distance away from NJP or Bagdogra Airport. Check into the resort upon arrival. Go sightseeing in and around Lamahatta. Relish the beauty of the pine trees standing Majestically, the mighty Kanchenjunga, Colourful Buddhist prayer flags, the scenic roadside garden etc. In the evening, you are free to roam around the area. Day 2: Transfer to Tinchuley and Sightseeing

Wake up early and head to Tinchuley after breakfast. Tinchuley is a small hilly village in Darjeeling District, West Bengal. The name Tinchuley means three ovens, as the village is surrounded by three hilltops that look like ovens from a distance. After a 30-minute drive, check into your homestay and freshen up. Next, go for sightseeing. Take a short trek through the greenery to reach Gumba Dara View Point, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the shining Rangeet River and a part of Sikkim. Explore some caves, visit Tinchuley View Point, and then see the charming Takdah village nearby. Return to the homestay for an overnight stay in Tinchuley.

Day 3: Transfer to Chatakpur and Chatakpur Sightseeing

On day 3 of the Darjeeling Tinchuley Chatakpur Lamahatta Tour Package, you will be driven to Chatakpur. Chatakpur is at a driving distance of 35 km from Tinchuley and takes about 2 hours to reach. Upon arrival at your pre-booked homestay, check-in and freshen yourself up. Later visit Chatakpur Viewpoint to witness the snow-covered Mount Kanchenjunga. Enclosed by a lush green forest, one can do nothing at Chatakpur except enjoy the serenity of the place. Moreover, stroll around the village of Chatakpur to get friendly with the local bodies. Spend the evening while hearkening to the cricket song. Finally, have dinner to spend the night at Chatakpur.

Day 4: Transfer to Darjeeling

After enjoying the beauty of these quiet offbeat destinations and experiencing village life, head to the popular tourist spot, Darjeeling. It is known for its large tea gardens, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, and stunning views of the snow-clad Mount Kanchenjunga. It is 20 km from Chatakpur, and the drive takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive, check into your pre-booked hotel. In the evening, take a walk around Darjeeling's quite popular Mall Road. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 5: Full Day Darjeeling Sightseeing - Tiger Hill and Mix Point

On day 5 of your Darjeeling Tinchuley Chatakpur Lamahatta Tour Package, get ready to explore most of the tourist attractions of Darjeeling. Start the sightseeing journey by witnessing a stunning sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill. Drive back to the resort for breakfast. On the way visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop etc.

Post breakfast; visit most of the remaining prominent sites including Chitrey Tea Garden, Ropeway, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Darjeeling Zoo), HMI, Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, etc. After this successful day exploring the city, return to the resort for an overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 6: Drop at NJP or Bagdogra Airport

Today, according to your preference, you will be dropped off at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station as your tour of Darjeeling, Tinchuley, Chatakpur, and Lamahatta comes to an end.
