Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Darjeeling

On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will first get to know our friendly officials. Complete the greeting process and then proceed to Darjeeling. Also known as the "Queen of Hills", Darjeeling has already flourished as a touristy place full of scenic attractions. Cover at least 80 km to finally reach Darjeeling. But, during the journey stop at Sonada, a tiny yet beautiful hamlet.

Reach Darjeeling after having approximately 3 hours of journey. Now, check into your hotel and spend some time at leisure. Stroll into the nearby places or the lush green tea gardens to spend some tranquil time. Finally, stay overnight at Darjeeling with this North Sikkim Tour Package.

Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

In the early morning, proceed to Tiger Hill to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the snow-clad Mt. Kanchenjunga. Return back to your hotel after having the first ray of the sun. On the way to the hotel, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Have breakfast; then again proceed to many other sightseeing places in Darjeeling. Start by visiting Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, a natural habitat of many other unique Himalayan flora and fauna.

Next, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute to observe Tenzing Norgay's valuable gear used on his first expedition to Mount Everest, have a ride in the ropeway to get a scenic view of the valley, etc. Also, visit Chitrey Tea Garden, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Darjeeling Ropeway, Japanese Temple, and Peace Pagoda respectively. Return back to your hotel and stay overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 3: Pashupati Market and Mirik Sightseeing

Take early morning breakfast to proceed for an excursion to Mirik. After covering approximately 60 km, reach Mirik. First, visit Mirik Lake which is surrounded by lush green forests. Spend some tranquil time here while listening to the melodious songs of the Himalayan birds. Then, Mirik Tea Gardens, and Pasupati Nagar, Gopaldhara Tea Garden and Simana Viewpoint accordingly. Situated just 15 km away from Mirik and near Indo-Chinese Border, Pasupati Nagar is notable for its local markets where you can buy various artifacts, handicrafts, perfumes, clothes, etc. In the evening, again return back to your hotel room. Spend the evening at Leisure and finally overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4: Transfer to Gangtok

After early morning breakfast, check out from your hotel to start a thrilling journey towards Gangtok, a fascinating capital city of Sikkim full of scenic landscapes. After covering more than 100 km and cutting through green alpine forest, tea gardens, and picturesque valleys, you will finally reach Gangtok. Check into your hotel and take a rest or roam around the always busy MG Marg as the rest of the day is all yours. Explore many restaurants and shopping malls. In the evening, have a delicious dinner and stay overnight at Gangtok.

Day 5: Transfer to Lachen and Sightseeing on the way

Wake up early as it is the day to proceed to Lachen with this North Sikkim Tour Package. After breakfast check out from your hotel and head towards Lachen, a tiny hamlet located at an elevation of 2,750 meters. Spend 6 long hours during the journey but it will initially feel short as on the way you will come across some of the fascinating landscapes and places. During the journey stop at Singhik View Point which is quite famous for offering a great view of Mount Kanchenjunga and Seven Sisters Waterfall for the surreal beauty of cascading water. Also, visit Chungtang, a scenic place to be blessed by the Guru Padmasambhava, one of the renowned saints in Sikkim whose footprints are still there on a huge rock. Resume your journey again. In the hotel, freshen yourself up and roam around the scenic landscapes of Lachen as you are completely free for the rest of the day. Finally, in the evening have your dinner and stay overnight at Lachen.

Day 6: Excursion to Gurudongamar Lake and Lachung Transfer

After early morning breakfast, get ready for an excursion to Gurudongmar Lake. Situated just 66 Km away from Lachen, reach this scenically blessed lake which also has its own religious significance. This sacred lake is believed to be blessed by Guru Padmasambhava, thus has a strange ability to fulfill barren couples' wishes. Moreover, the spectacular lake has left many travelers awe-struck with its splendid beauty and charm. Now, return back to your hotel to have your lunch.

Next, check out from the hotel to start a journey towards Lachung via Chungtang. It is an overall journey of 3 hours with an approximate distance of 46 km. Situated at an elevation of 8600 ft. Lachung is a magnificent tiny hamlet where you can find stunning fruit orchards, gleaming streams, and gushing blue rivers flowing through. On the way to Lachung, visit Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Check into your hotel and freshen up. As you are free for the rest of the day now, enjoy the snow-peaked mountains and roam around the lush green forest. Breathe-in the 0xygen-rich fresh air which will make you lively again. In the evening, return back to your hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight here at Lachung.

Day 7: Sightseeing at Yumthang Valley and Transfer to Gangtok
