4 Days Silk Route Tour Itinerary
On arrival at Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri Railway station, you will be first greeted by our friendly representative. Next, to start your Silk Route Tour Package, we will pick you up and transfer you to Sillery Gaon, a small hamlet situated on the Himalayan Mountain Range. Moreover, it is very close to Kalimpong and Pedong Town. So, the journey towards this magnificent hamlet is full of scenic places and green lofty mountains. Without feeling bored throughout your journey, you will finally reach Sillery Gaon after covering more than 95 km. Now, check into your resort and have some rest while enjoying the view of daunting hills from the resort's window. Later, in the evening stroll into the nearby places and finally, spend the night here at Sillerygaon.
Wake up early in the morning and have your breakfast while listening to the melodious chirping of various Himalayan birds. Next, get ready to be transferred to Reshikhola, a magnificent riverside hamlet just 37 km away from Kalimpong. The name of this tiny place comes from the name of the Reshi River which flows along with this hamlet.
Finally, after covering more than 32 km, you will reach here. Now, check into your resort and have some rest after being fresh. Now, you are completely free for the day. Visit the shimmering Reshi River and drown yourself in the sound of gushing water. Watch various birds flying here and there while making various unique sounds. Moreover, you can even indulge yourself in trekking activities if you want. In the evening, return to your resort and finally having a delicious dinner overnight stay at Reshikhola.
Day 3 of our Silk Route Tour Package will be the most exciting one. So wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast and prepare yourself for a magnificent journey towards Aritar, a scenic hamlet located in East Sikkim popularly known for its rich history and fascinating landscape. So, after covering approximately 15 km from Reshikhola, you will finally reach here. Check into your resort and have some rest. You are completely free for the rest of the day.
Now, start exploring some of the fascinating sightseeing places of Aritar. First, visit Aritar Gumpa, a magnificent Buddhist monastery known for its splendid ancient architecture. Moreover, you can also see many splendid paintings, murals, and artefacts nicely drawn and preserved here. Later, visit Mankim Temple and Rai Temple which are situated on the hilltop of Mankin. Enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley and Mount Kanchenjunga. Indulge yourself in the trekking activities and discover some memorable tranquil places where the time is worth spending.
After visiting and discovering all these sightseeing places, return back to your resort. Relax for a while and in the evening stroll into the nearby places. Finally, overnight stay in the resort at Aritar.
