Reckoned for the Zang Dhok Palri Monastery, Durpin Dara offers a panoramic vista of Kalimpong and cascading river stream of Teesta along with the commanding view of West Sikkim and snow clad fortress of Himalayan range.

Dr Graham's Homes: Built in 1900, Dr Graham's Homes is another famous tourist destination of Kalimpong. The cottage shaped building of Dr Graham's Homes till date holds the elegance of Victorian Era. Founded by Dr JA Graham's Home the most prominent attraction of this historic institution is the Chapel and museum. The stained window pane and gray slates of chapel and museum has captivated the minds of many travelers.

How to reach Kalimpong:

The closest railway station of Lava is NJP. The distance between Kalimpong and NJP is 75km and the closest airport of Lava is in Bagdogra. The distance between Kalimpong and Bagdogra is 78km. Visitors can easily reach Kalimpong by hiring a taxi from the respective junction. Or they can either opt to take the State Bus service which regularly ply from Siliguri to Kalimpong.
