National Textile Museum established in 2001 instruction of Her Majesty, the Queen Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuk is an art and craft gallery in Thimphu Bhutan. Showcasing and preserving the traditional weaving technique and attires worn by the Royal Family, National Textile Museum has attracted to Bhutan from around the world.
National Textile Museum with its numerous galleries adorned with different clothing article and raw materials has been a must visit place in Bhutan and a favored sightseeing place in Thimphu for the tourist who wish to get an insight about the traditional attire of Bhutan.
Tourists can visit National Textile Museum anytime between 9am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 3pm on Sundays. National Textile Museum remains close during some of the national holidays.
Visitors need to pay a nominal fee of 250Nu as the entry fee while visiting National Textile Museum.
