How to Reach Chaaya Taal Sikkim

Chayatal, an alluring offbeat destination in Sikkim, can be reached from Bagdogra or NJP quite easily. From NJP, the village is about 140 km away and usually takes about 5 hours to reach. Bagdogra, the airport near Siliguri, is just 145 km away.

Best Time to Visit Chayatal Village

The season of spring (April to May) is considered to be the best time to visit Chayatal Village because of the magnificent vista of the blooming rhododendron can be seen in the Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary.
