  • By Rail: Situated approximately 162 km away from Paro, Hasimara is the nearest railway station. From Hasimara Railway Station, it is an overall journey of more than 5 and a half hour.
  • By Road: Paro is easily accessible by road. From Phuentsholing, it usually takes approximately 5 hours to reach the main town of Paro.

Taktsang Monastery

Also known as the Tiger Nest, Paros's Taktsang Monastery is a breathtaking monastery you can't resist visiting. Located on the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley, Taktsang is luring thousands of travelers to visit Paro every year.

Paro Dzong or Rinpung Dzong

Kyichu Lhakhang

Jangtsa Dumtseg Lhakhang

Built-in the form of a Chorten, Jangtsa Dumtseg Lhakhang is a fascinating monastery and one of the most visited sightseeing places in Paro. Located between the Paro valley and the Dopchari valley, it is a three floors building that represents Hell, Earth, and Heaven respectively.
