TRANSFER TO PHUENTSHOLINGOn arrival at Hasimara/NJP/Bagdogra you will be greeted by our officials and then transferred to your hotel in Phuentsholing. If you are arriving at NJP/Bagdogra it is an approx 4hrs journey to Phuentsholing and if you are arriving at Hasimara it is an overall 1hr journey to reach Phuentsholing. Phuentsholing situated beside the bustling town of Jaigaon is the Southern Border Town of Bhutan. Check into your hotel and freshen up. TRANSFER TO THIMPHUAfter an early morning breakfast, checkout from your hotel and start your 6hrs drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Thimphu is the only city of Bhutan and is reckoned for being the most clean and rush free city in Asia. The buildings in Thimphu are known for showcasing the impeccable blend of historic belief with the hint of modern culture. The road leading towards Thimphu are carved on the rocky landscape of Bhutan through rolling hill and known for offering the most pictorial view of the changing landscape. Have lunch on the way to Thimphu. Check into your hotel and freshen up. You are free for the rest of the rest of the evening to either rest in your hotel or take a stroll in the market area of Thimphu to taste the local Bhutanese delicacies. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

THIMPHU SIGHTSEEINGWake up early and after breakfast, start your sightseeing in Thimphu. The first place in your list is the Memorial Chorten. Built to commemorate the memory of 3rd Drukpa Gyalpo, Memorial Chorten is situated in the heart of Thimphu. You will find many devotees near the chorten who comes to enjoy the serene ambiance. Next we will drive to Mothitang Takin Preserve. The preserve is the home of Takin, national animal of Bhutan. Early morning is known to be the best time to visit the preserve as Takin comes near the fences to eat their food. The unique animal has hyped the interest of many animal lovers. Near Takin Preserve there is the BBS Tower from where you will get a panoramic vista of Thimphu City. Next we will drive you to the National Textile Museum. Here you can learn to wear the traditional Bhutanese dress Gho and Kera and can also buy the dress as souvenir. Next after lunch we will take you to the famous Thimphu Dzong. Located along the river banks of Wang Chhu, Thimphu Dzong with its grandiose architecture and ancient artifacts has become a place which must visit destination of Thimphu. After adorning the colorful Thangkhas and painting proceed to Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park to witness the magnificent statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. Also known as Buddha Dordenma, the Buddha View Point has become the iconic landmark of Thimphu. The evening view of Thimphu Valley from Buddha view point has ensnared the mind of many travelers. TRANSFER TO PARO After an early morning breakfast, checkout from your hotel, and proceed to your hotel in Paro. The distance between Paro from Thimphu is 50km which can be covered in approx 2hrs. Situated on the river banks of Mo Chhu and Pa Chhu, Paro is a scenically blessed town with many historical significant sites. The meandering rivers of Po Chhu and Mo Chhu welcome you to the historic town of Paro. After checking into your hotel and freshening up you are free to take explore the markets of Paro or simply enjoy the serenity of Paro which holds the lingering essence of its regal past. PARO SIGHTSEEINGAfter your breakfast, gear up for visiting the famous tourist attractions of Paro. We will first drive you towards Taktsang Monastery, the most prominent attraction of Paro. It is a monastery built on the cliff. It takes a two hour trek to reach Paro. You can either trek or ride on a pony to reach this Cliffside Monastery. It is famous for offering an outstanding view of Paro valley. Next we will take you to National Museum of Bhutan. Founded within the Conch shaped building of Ta Dzong here you can find artifacts dating back to 2nd century and get an insight about the early Bhutanese era. After lunch we will take you to Rinpung Dzong famously known as Paro Dzong. Listed under the tentative sites of UNESCO Paro Dzong is only opened for the outsider during the auspicious festival of Tsechu although you can take a walk in the courtyard of the Dzong. Behind the white washed wall of Paro Dzong is the most sacred artifact of Bhutan the Thondrol of Guru Rinpoche. After adorning the beauty of purple jacaranda trees and shimmering water of Po Chhu and Mo Chhu return to your hotel. Overnight stay at Paro.

DROP AT HASIMARAAfter an early morning breakfast, checkout from your hotel and proceed to Hasimara. It is an overall journey of 5-6hr with an approx distance of 178km.
