Built-in 1887, this magnificent palace is the major attraction of tourists in Coochbeahar. It was established by Raja Nipendra Narayan and the combination of British and Mughal architectural style gives it a distinctive look. As it was made by taking inspiration from Buckingham Palace, the bricks of the architecture are all red. Located just a couple of meters away from the Palace, you will explore The Madan Mohan Temple now. Built just two years later of the Palace, this ancient temple is also a major tourist attraction of Coochbehar. You will also visit Baneswar Shiva Temple. The atmosphere of the temple is quite charming and the pond near it is the habitant of tortoises.

You will be also going to our famous Rasikbil. The lake is a heaven for bird lovers as you can see various unique birds here, such as cormorants, storks, parrots, spoonbill, kingfisher, owl, and many others.
