TRANSFER TO RAIMATANGOur official will be there at NJP/Bagdogra to receive you. Then they will arrange your transfer to your Jungle resort at Raimatang. It will take around 3 and half hours to cover 153 km distance. The Govt. Forest Bungalow is a nature resort. Raimatang is a quaint forest village situated along the banks of river Raimatang. Enclosed by dense forest of Buxa, hills of Bhutan and meandering river streams, Raimatang is known for its scenic beauty and tranquil ambiance. The road leading to Raimatang is full of pictorial view of lush green tea gardens and subtropical forest. Check into your resort and freshen up. You are free for the rest of the day to take to a tour around the village or just adorn the beauty of Buxa Tiger Reserve from the Watchtower of Raimatang. Overnight stay in Raimatang.

TRANSFER TO SIKIAJHORA & BOAT SAFARI IN SIKIAJHORACheckout from your resort after an early morning breakfast and proceed to your next destination Sikiajhora Nature Resort. Located 35km away it is a 1hr drive from Raimatang to reach Sikiajhora. Flowing gently through the dense forest of Buxa Tiger Reserve Sikiajhora is a quaint river stream of Dooars. Sikiajhora is famous for its boat safari. The Nature resort of Sikiajhora is a government forest bungalow. After reaching Sikiajhora check into your resort and freshen up. After lunch, be ready for the boat safari in Sikiajhora. The Boat Safari in Sikiajhora is the best way to voyage upon the less trodden destinations of Buxa forest which cannot be travelled on foot. Listen to the sound of gurgling river streams and chirping of exquisite birds and if you are lucky you might even spot leopards and herd of Wild Elephants drinking water at the river bank of Sikiajhora along with other wild animals like wild boars, bison, barking Deers and numerous birds. After completing the 4km long boat ride on Sikiajhora, you will be taken to the Watchtower of Sikiajhora. TRANSFER TO SOUTH KHAYERBARI After breakfast, checkout from your resort and proceed to your cottage in South Khayerbari. With an approx distance of 60km the overall drive towards South Khayerbari from Raimatang is of 2hr. The rescue centre South Khayerbari is home for the felines banned from the circus. South Khayerbari also known as Leopard and Royal Bengal Tiger Rescue Centre and is also a rehabilitation centre for the rescued animals. The Cottages in South Khayerbari are maintained by the Forest Officials. After checking into the resort, freshen up and take a tour of this unique nature park in the battery operated cars. Observe leopards and tigers in their semi natural habitat. Being situated along the banks of River Torsha, you can also go for boating in South Khayerbari. Overnight stay in South Khayerbari.

It is an overall journey of 2-2½hr with an approx distance of 92 km. Enclosed by lush tea garden Samsing is one of the favored offbeat destinations of Dooars. The nature resort of Samsing is maintained by the Government Officials. Check into your resort and freshen up. In the noon after lunch we will take you to Sunthalekhola. Located at a distance of 5km from Samsing, Sunthalekhola is another offbeat destination of Dooars. It is famous for being the base for exploring Neora Valley National Park. The forest surrounding Sunthalekhola is dotted with many amazing trails which are also ideal for bird watching. With an approx distance of 25 km it is overall 1hr journey towards Jhalong from Samsing. Situated along the foothills of Bhutan hills, Jaldhaka is pictorial river valley famous for its trekking route towards Rechela. In the noon, after lunch, we will take you to Jhalong. Reckoned for its Hydroelectricity Project on river Jaldhaka, Jhalong is a quaint hamlet located along the Indo-Bhutan Border. The dam of Jhalong also acts as a bridge for the people from the Bhutanese border town. During winter season Jhalong attracts migratory water fowls from Central Asia and Ladakh. DROP TO NJP/BAGDOGRAAfter an early morning breakfast, checkout from the resort, and proceed to NJP/ Bagdogra. It is a 3hr journey with an approx distance of 120kilometres. Throughout your return journey you will be accompanied by the pictorial view of changing landscape of tea gardens and subtropical forest, bid farewell to Dooars.
