TRANSFER TO LATAGURI & SIGHTSEEING IN SUNTALEKHOLA, SAMSING AND ROCKY ISLANDOn the arrival at NJP/Bagdogra you will be greeted by our officials and then transferred to your resort in Lataguri which is maintained by the government officials. Lataguri is quaint settlement located at the periphery of Gorumara National Park. After checking in, freshen up and be ready to visit the offbeat destinations of Dooars. Our first stop would be Samsing, which is a serene hamlet known for its lush tea garden and the base for exploring Neora Valley National Park. After walking past the aromatic tea garden you will head towards Sunthalekhola which is located at a distance of 5km from Samsing. Sunthalekhola is dotted with astounding trekking routes. You can spot birds and small wild animals in those routes. Lastly you will head towards Rocky Island. Reckoned as the hub of adventurer, Rocky Island is made with the cluster of gigantic rocks midst the Murti River. Here you can test your rock climbing skill or simply enjoy the cool water of Murti River. Return to the resort and overnight stay in Lataguri.

Dooars Tour Packages Special Tips - about Jhalong, Bindu Jaldhaka: Three streams known as Dudh Pokhri, Bindu Khola and Jaldhaka meets at Bindu to form Jaldhaka River. Jaldhaka River originates from a lake in Kupup, Sikkim. The dam in Bindu helps in controlling water supply for Jaldhaka Hydro electrical project. This dam can be crossed only by foot. However, recently a steel bridge was constructed nearby for light weight vehicles.

TRANSFER TO JALDAPARA & VISIT TO SOUTH KHAYERBARIAfter the breakfast, check out from the resort and head towards Jaldapara. In Jaldapara you will be lodging in the resort maintained by the government officials. Jaldapara is a national park known for housing the largest population of One-Horned Rhinoceros after Kajiranga National Park in Assam. On arrival at Jaldapara, check into the resort and freshen up. Later in the afternoon you will drive towards South Khayerbari. Located at a distance of 15km, South Khayerbari is a rehabilitation centre for the felines who were rescued from the circus and smuggler. Observe the rescued leopards and Royal Bengal tigers in South Khayerbari while touring in the battery operated cars. Return to the resort and you are free for the rest of the evening. Overnight stay in Jaldapara.
Dooars Tour Packages Special Tips - about Jaldapara: Almost one third of the Jaldapara National Park is covered with Savannah and tall elephant grass. Among trees sal, khair, sishu, simul, sirish are the main contributors of this forest. Jaldapara is mainly known for one horned rhinoceros. There are about 20 species of mammals, 240 species of birds, 8 species of fresh water turtles available in this forest. Among mammals' rhinoceros, elephant, leopard, sambar, barking deer, spotted deer, hog deer, wild bores and Indian gaurs can be seen. Bengal florican one of the rarest species of bird is found in this forest. Other birds like crested eagle, fin's weaver, jungle fowl, peafowl, partridge, lesser pied hornbills are inhabitant of Jaldapara National Park. Python, monitor lizard, krait, cobra, and gecko are important habitat among reptiles. Some rare species like the hispid hare and the hog-badger are also found in Jaldapara National Park.

SIGHTSEEING IN PHUENTSHOLING AND JAYANTI/BUXAAfter an early morning breakfast you will drive towards Phuentsholing. Phuentsholing is a quaint border town which is famous for its crocodile breeding centre and wish fulfilling monastery. After exploring Phuentsholing proceed to Buxa and Jayanti. Visit the ancient Buxa Fort that marks its existence since the British era and the amazing scenic beauty of nature at Jayanti river bed. After the delightful sightseeing return back to resort and relax. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.

Spread over an area of 760 sq km, Buxa is a famous tourist place in North Bengal and Dooars Region.

Coochbehar is the only planned city of North East which still holds the remnants of its royal past. The Rajbari or the Coochbehar Palace is the most prominent attraction of this historic city. Madan Mohan Temple is another favored attraction of Coochbehar. The magnificent architecture of these ancient building is sure to woo your heart. This princely town has many natural water bodies like Rasikbill which attracts migratory birds from Central Asia and Ladakh during winter season. The design of the palace was influenced by the famous Buckingham Palace in London. This palace was built during the rule of Maharaja Nripendra Narayan. The double-story palace is made of brick in classical Western style. The palace covers an area of 51,309 square ft (4,766.8 m2). The whole structure is 395 ft (120 m) long and 296 feet (90 m) wide and is on rests 4 feet 9 inches (1.45 m) above the ground.
