But prior to visiting Thimphu you will be staying the South Border town of Bhutan, Phuentsholing The prime attraction of Phuentsholing is the crocodile breeding centre Amo Chhu and wish fulfilling shrine Karbandi Monastery.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Hasimara to Thimphu Transfer

The tour package starts from Hasimara. Get picked up and then enjoy a scenic drive to your hotel in Thimphu. The capital city Thimphu is the only city of Bhutan that showcases the impeccable blend of past and present in its astounding architecture. The road leading towards Thimphu is carved on the rugged terrain through daunting hills. These roads are known for the pictorial landscape of dense conifer trees and scenic valleys. Have lunch on the way to Thimphu. Check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening you are free to rest in your hotel or you can take a stroll in the market area of Thimphu to taste the local Bhutanese delicacies. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 2: THIMPHU LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

On Day 2 in Thimphu, start early with breakfast and delve into the city's cultural treasures. Begin with serene moments at the Durga Temple or Shiv Temple, followed by panoramic views and the majestic Buddha statue at Buddha Point. Relax at Coronation Park before encountering Bhutan's national animal at Takin Zoo. Visit the Memorial Chorten and explore Bhutanese heritage at the Folk Heritage Museum and Handicrafts and Textile Museum. Witness traditional paper-making at the Handmade Paper Factory, then visit the grand Tashicchhoe Dzong. Wrap up your day at Simply Bhutan, experiencing local traditions and culture firsthand, making for a rich and fulfilling day of exploration in Thimphu. Back to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: TRANSFER TO PHUENTSHOLING

After breakfast, get transferred to your hotel in Phuentsholing, the Southern Border Town of Bhutan. From Thimphu, it is an approx 4hrs journey to Phuentsholingto cover a road distance of around 146 kilometres. Marking the province of Bhutan Region, the prominent attractions of Phuentsholing are the crocodile breeding centres of Amo Chhu and Bhutan Gate. Check into your hotel and freshen up. Overnight Stay in Phuentsholing after dinner.

Day 4: DROP AT HASIMARA STATION

After having breakfast say your farewell to this mystical land of beauty. Check out from the hotel and start your journey towards Hasimara. The scenic view of changing vegetation and lofty mountains will accompany you throughout your journey. Reach Hasimara after covering approx 20km and after your arrival at Hasimara your 3N/4D Bhutan Tour Package will come to an end.
