Here you will find a rock which till day bears the hand and footprints of Padmasambhava.

Have lunch on the way to Lachen as the journey will be a long one. Reach your hotel at Gangtok after covering approx 115 km of road distance. Freshen up to plan the remaning day's activing. After soaking yourself in the beauty of this majestic lake return to your hotel. On your way to Yumthang Valley, you will be driving across the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary which has more than 120 species of Rhododendron trees and is also the home to the endemic Rhododendron Niveum.
