Have lunch on the way to Lachen as the journey will be a long one. Reach your hotel at Gangtok after covering approximately 115 km of road distance. Freshen up to plan the remaining day's activities. After an early morning breakfast begin your sightseeing excursion to Gurudongmar Lake. It takes around 3 hours to reach the lake after covering approximately 66 km of road distance. It is a glacial lake and one of the highest altitude lakes in the world. Sited on the foothill of a snow-capped mountain, Gurudongmar Lake has left many travelers enthralled with its ethereal beauty. After lunch, visit Lachen Monastery and check out from your hotel to start your journey to your hotel in Lachung via Chungthang. Lachung is another quaint hamlet in North Sikkim. On the way to Lachung, you can visit the Bhim Nala Waterfalls. You will be driven towards Yumthang Valley. Also known as the Valley of Flowers, this sightseeing excursion will certainly be a memorable one.
