National Textile Museum established in 2001 instruction of Her Majesty, the Queen Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuk is an art and craft gallery in Thimphu Bhutan. Showcasing and preserving the traditional weaving technique and attires worn by the Royal Family, National Textile Museum has attracted to Bhutan from around the world.

History of the National Textile Museum
The Textile Museum was first founded in 2001 by the Queen Mother Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuck. The Bhutan Government and many other private donors funded this museum to be built. Furthermore, the Museum also got technical support from the United States' Peabody Essex Museum.
